Hey, Pashka - I just got back from the BCN. I was hunting there on commission from the Office Of Anti-Christ Activity in Rome. I found several of them in Tarontos - or whaever that Flamenco Bar is called. They were tough but I took care of them. Ok. The world's a little safer. Cooking good food, being a chef, writing recipe books and conducting a food based TV show are extremely different tasks I would say and you highlighted them pretty well in the examples.

I remember Tarla Dalaal and even Sanjeev Kapoor would impart some tips and tricks, do's and dont's about the recipe in hand or ingredients which adds value otherwise people can just read recipe books instead of watching show.

I have watched some of Sanghvi and Vinod Dua they are nice and insightful and go deeper than just how to cook.

If you are interested I might dig his article/essay on Indian food culture.

Even though the issue has lost almost all its steam , iam still willing to add my two cents.

There are two lines of thought here :
1.Calculated publicity gimmick by both the parties.
2.Chetan Bhagat is a fool & also being one taken over by filmakers.

In my opinion the truth lies between the two . Chetan would be happy as he has got mileage & sold a few books more. Also in hearts corner he is bleeding as he is not able to get through filmy quagmire .Anyway if it ends well , All Izz Well.

thanks for stopping by ashaniji, well, i do have sympathies for the writer community but not particularly this writer who is posing to be a lost lamb in the woods. He should have read the fine prints while giving away the rights. Perhaps poor guy thought he was dealing with these filmmakers who talked of gandhigiri so he was safe.. n e way, for now it looks like a publicity stunt from both sides...

i have just seen the movie; i was feeling that i am watching "NEW YORK" starring by SAIF (as John); Kareena (as Kat)and Vivek (as Neil). the story was quiet similar to the New York; concept and theme (Terrerism Based) evrything were common. No mystry; from the first half u can come to know the end of the movie. The movie was quite DUMBO.

Yes, we went to lavasa when it was raining full and we were all in clouds. Even visited sinhagadh which was pending since years.. You just cant belive, you feel so one with nature. I feel i was breathing clouds and was full of it. Experience no words can describe and no camera can capture.
